Hollytail walked out of the nursery to enjoy the beautiful day. She didn't like being cooped up in the camp all day, but she knew it was best for her soon-to-be-born-kits.

Hollytail laid down where a little bit of sunshine shone through the canopy of pine trees. She saw the sunhigh patrol come back from patroling the borders. They were whispering something into Hoaxstar's ears.

"There's a fox on our territory!" Hollytail just overheard Snowpelt whisper. She was horrified! A fox was on their territory! Foxes could kill any cat, including newborn kits. She hoped the other warriors could drive the fox away before her kits were born.
